Domestic Staff

NANNIES
All nannies working through Hilary's Agency have
experience of looking after children. Many have a recognised qualification
such as NNEB, BTEC Nursery Nursing, NVQIII or equivalent qualification.
Others will have years of experience. Nannies can live-in or live
out. Salary for a live-out, full-time nanny from £375 net to £450 net
per week. Agency placement fee for live-out nannies from £450 - £495.
MOTHER'S HELPS
If it's an extra pair of hands you need for day-to-day
jobs, then a mother's help could be just what you are looking
for. In addition to domestic duties mother's helps will assist
with the children and are particularly suitable for busy families
with young children. They can live-in or live-out. Salary for
a live-out, full-time mother's help from £300 net per week.
Agency placement fee £395.
MATERNITY NANNIES
For those families with new babies, twins, triplets
or more! Maternity Nannies working through Hilary's Agency have
specific experience of looking after and assisting with newborn
babies. Maternity nannies usually live in with families until
a manageable routine is established. Weekly payment from £600
gross per week. Agency placement fee £150 per week.
HOUSEKEEPERS OR NANNY HOUSEKEEPERS
If you need someone to organise your home then
it's a housekeeper you need. A housekeeper will be able to take
complete charge of your home on your behalf. Duties can include
cooking, supervising or carrying out housework, shopping, laundry
etc. A Nanny-housekeeper will also be able to care for children
and can live in or live out. Salary from £450 net per week.
Agency placement fee £950.
BABYSITTERS
Need an evening out? Hilary's Agency will locate
a suitable person in your area to baby-sit for you on an on-going
basis. The agency placement fee £120.

Can I get help to pay for childcare?
As of April, 2005, parents may be able to get some
financial support to help pay for childcare. Under the Childcare
Approval Scheme there will be two types of financial support available.
